The Lefty Lizard King posts this CNN report of yet another clash of Western and Muslim civilizations:
A Somali man was shot as he allegedly tried to enter the home of Danish political cartoonist Kurt Westergaard — known for his controversial depictions of the Muslim prophet Mohammad — on Saturday, police said.
The 27-year-old man, who was not identified, wielded an ax and a knife and cracked a window at Westergaard’s home in Aarhus, said police spokesman Morten Jensen. A home alarm alerted police to the scene at 10 p.m., and they were attacked by the man, he said.
The comments CJ has allowed to stand firmly denounce this latest incident of Islamic violence -- the usual list of terms, such as "Islamofascist" and "religion of peace," pop up as much as you'd see at immigration restriction sites such as FAIR or even VDare.
And yet, CJ is even more vehement in condemning political movements to stop the Islamization of America and Europe -- they're all "fascist," you see.
I hereby propose we refer to the blogczar of Little Green Footballs as Charles "Cognitive Dissonance" Johnson.

I keep hearing that Islam is a religion of peace, but I'm not seeing it. Maybe if there was more condemnation by the "peaceful" Muslims of the extremists trying to kill/murder/decapitate/eviscerate/blow up everything and everyone, then I might buy it. Maybe.

Islam is the religion of peace only in the minds of the Tolerance Police and their brainwashed victims.
Wow, the account I read of this incident had the victim hiding in his "panic room" while the maniac tried in vain to splinter the door with his axe. It would have been a different story if this idiot had tried to break into a house in, say Georgia. The victim probably wouldn't have been hiding in a panic room, nor would the perp been shot in the leg and hand. In Georgia they have their own guns and are much better marksmen.
I certainly don't have a problem with Islam or the people who practice it. They have their views and I have mine. We could live in peace and trade with each other - they on their land and I on mine - if the Feds would quite driving all of them to hate me.
The problem is the Feds, not Islam.

You're absolutely right! There's deep Muslim anger against the US government that feeds murderous fanatics, so the ultimate villain here is DC.
