About that "purity" test
Lefty commentators have been raking Republicans for limiting support to those Republican candidates who support conservative values, hinting the GOP is turning itself into an ideological, exclusivist party with little mass appeal. "What happenend to the Big Tent?" they demand.
But when leftists do the same thing, why, that's just being true to Democratic principles. Got it?

I love how the "Progressive" site you link to claims that Dennis J. Kucinich isn't a progressive. I disagree with the man on most issues, but I do respect him as one of the few honest men in Congress. Looks like most of those Blue Dogs are from the South, mostly white districts I would guess. Rabid socialists would go over about as well as a turd in a punch bowl.
