The inevitability of gay marriage, continued
Andrew Sullivan, who once rallied his fellow homosexuals to back the illegal invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq in the name of "gay liberation," invokes the sacred image of Abraham Lincoln to argue for the Federal government to legalize same-sex "marriage" in the name of equality. After all, the people of the States have failed miserably, so why shouldn't the central government take up the cause of "marriage equality"?
Can we fight a foreign war in the name of equality and deny equal rights at home? Looks like those Neocon chickens are coming home to roost -- again.

I oppose gay marriage, and probably for the same reasons you do; however, I am willing to bet that it would become a non-issue if health insurance were restructured on a more rational basis. What the gays want is family coverage.

They also want to be able to file jointly on their tax returns. Once again we see "democratic" government as the biggest instigator of social problems.
There is a class of sodomite, that actually believes their lustful 'arsenocoitus' ( to anglicize the Greek word St. Paul says precludes those who practice it from the Kingdom of God) is of the same order and 'legitimacy' as heterosexual, procreative marriage.
They want all the 'perks', of course. But they also are so delusional, that they think that by some godless fiat law, they will change the Law of God thereby!
Truly, they are mad, their consciences seared 'as with a red hot iron.'
