Dangerous extremists lurk among us!

No, no, not the fellows pictured above. They're just spreading diversity, which is a good thing.

Here are the dangerous extremists:

Forget Nidal Hasan. What we should be terrified of, according to this SPLC report, are extremist nativists (are there any other kind?) who want to enforce existing Federal immigration law! From the stileto-tipped purple pen of Heidi Beirich, here's a report on the real menace, with the spine-tingling title, "Dangerous Liaisons: Congressmen to Join Nativist Hate Group Today":

At noon today, five members of the U.S. House of Representatives will hold a press conference at the House Triangle with Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). FAIR has been listed as an anti-immigrant hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center since 2007.

And if the SPLC issues a fatwa against any person or group, they are banned from civic participation. Or oughta be.

Funny, isn't it, that a whole week's gone by since the Fort Hood massacre, yet the SPLC's had NOTHING to say about a case of REAL domestic terrorism? But when immigration reformers work peacefully within the system, it's time to hit the panic button.

But that's the way it is in the wacked-out world of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

One thing that gives me extreme pleasure is that I'm almost certain Mark, Heidi and Co. read this blog. They quit accepting my comments over at the Hatewatch blog when I started linking your blog entries.

Hellow Mark! Hello Heidi! Still waiting for you to put Ol' Jones on your CO hate map. What's keeping you?

That title would be hilarious if the people responsible for it weren't actually taking it seriously.

Snaggle-Tooth Jones,

Heck, with the ever-expanding definition of "hate," 99% of the country should be on the SPLC Hate Map(c). So they're not leaving you out.

I'm with you Snaggle! In fact I have a good mind to email ol' Mo and advise him that I'm a hate-mongering, hateful, hate-filled hater. I'll tell him I don't even like little fuzzy baby ducks. I'll be sure to give him my exact latitude and longtitude too. Wouldn't want my personal pushpin to go in the wrong place on that SPLC map.

Fame at last!

That post is priceless. LOL

It is truly hilarious watching the PC crowd bend over backwards trying to prove Ft. Hood had nothing to do with Islam--which completely contradicts the words of the shooter!

rex osborne,

From the SPLC Hate Map Directory(c):

The Rex Osborne Duck Haters Hate Group is known for biting the heads off of little fuzzy ducks on stage while playing heavy metal on banjos. This dangerous cult makes up in fanaticism what it lacks in numbers.

So far, it has only been able to take over the town of West Jefferson, but future expansion is planned.

Sounds like a pretty tough group.

Indentured Servant Girl,

Well who you gonna believe, some Muslim fundamentalist, or trained journalistic experts?
