Bill Kristol explains how to win in Afghanistan
Responding to George Will's unwanted offering of realism, Bill Kristol responds with his latest masterstroke:
As Will says, we have sent America’s finest to fight in Afghanistan. It is true that we have under-resourced and poorly strategized that fight. The right way to keep faith with our soldiers and Marines is for our national leaders now to support a strategy, and to provide the necessary resources, for victory.
In other words, all we have to do is think of something, and do it!

Chickenshit chickenhawk. Never served a day, but he did read a Tom Clancy novel once, so he knows how to win wars. The only good thing I can say about Ted Kennedy is that at least he had two years more time in uniform than Bill Kristol.
What do we get if we win?
Chris Mallory,
"Those who can, do, those who can't, write pro-war op-eds."
travis,
We get to prepare for the invasion of Iran, that's what.
If you look at history, Afghanistan is easy to enter initially but impossible to keep. It seems that the people there do not care for outsiders.
David,
But we invaded their country to do good deeds for them!
Sure, Mr. Kristol. And just who will the winners of your victory be?
