Is the administration collecting "fishy" emails?
Bill Burton, Obama's deputy press secretary, fails miserably trying to evade the question, then finally confesses the Obama White House is retaining the emails that "citizen informers" send to expose the ignorance -- or possibly "anti-Americanism" -- of those who oppose government-run healthcare. As painful as it is to watch someone blow an interview so badly, hang on until the end when Burton attempts a feeble endorsement of the right to free speech. Huh? Just incredible.

so, do we know when the gov will get my cable co to give them (the gov) my street address and wall location - I need that time frame so I can cancel my cable.
I am sure that they are saving the emails so that they can trace where they came from and pay that person a late night visit.
The man who was standing up for his disabled son has recieved such late night visits and had threats for speaking out against government controlled health care.
Federal law requires the White House to save these e-mails for record-keeping purposes. If Obama is denying that these e-mails are being saved he is either lying or breaking the law. Where are all the leftists who screamed bloody murder about Bush spying on the American people?
Anonymous,
Yeah, a little hypocrisy from lefties is to be expected.
LostinUtah,
When lefties hassle conservatives, it's just "counseling."
The Feds are surely keeping tabs on people.
