Enforcing the Constitution is racist!
The Southern Poverty Law Center has some pretty screwed-up notions, but the latest edition of their ironically titled Intelligence Report reveals the SPLC at its screwiest. In yet another article trying to link popular opposition to DC's left-wing agenda with domestic terrorism and "racial animus," the SPLC takes aim at this new group:
Oath Keepers, the military and police organization that was formed earlier this year and held its April muster on Lexington Green, may be a particularly worrisome example of the Patriot revival. Members vow to fulfill the oaths to the Constitution that they swore while in the military or law enforcement. "Our oath is to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and we will not obey unconstitutional (and thus illegal) and immoral orders," the group says. Oath Keepers lists 10 orders its members won't obey, including two that reference U.S. concentration camps.
Huh? The SPLC has a problem with soldiers and law enforcement personnel who promise to refrain from illegal and immoral actions? Can I ask why?
Is the SPLC saying our armed forces and law enforcement SHOULD mindlessly obey politicians regardless of the morality or legality of their orders? Didn't the United States once support Principle IV of the Nuremberg Principles?
Now if some group formed with the express purpose of violating the Constitution, or aiming to confiscate citizens' food, property, and means of self-defense, then I'd find that worrisome. (Not enough to give Morris Dees my money, however.) If you click on the Intelligence Report link, you'll notice the SPLC once again fails to link to the original source. Can't have their gullible readers making up their own minds, you see. So here's a link to the Oath Keepers. Click on it, read what their goals are, and ask yourself a question: Which is scarier, a group that promises to uphold the Constitution, or a group that condemns those who do?
H/T to mfoster!

NEWS FLASH!
I have been censored again for posting on Hatewatch, the SPLC blog.
I just happened to mention that if the SPLC is bent out of shape on Oath Keepers, it goes against what they did in Missouri and the MIAC.
HELLLLOOOOOH!
I have long considered the SPLC to be a "domestic enemy" of the US Constitution. Let them do the logic of that, as far as groups such as the Oath Keepers are concerned.
And by the way, Pawmetto, Hatewatch no longer accepts my comments either.
They can't handle us.
It amazes me (and I find it extremely hard to accept) that anyone actually believes the bucket-loads of crap passing as journalism these days. Here's a fresh pile from Steven Thomma. He liberally quotes from the repugnant $PLC but doesn't bother to contact Oath Keepers, he just smears them along with everyone else he can think of. Actually, his so-called article is nothing but a smear list based on 30 seconds spent at google. That's what passes for research these days.
Reading some of the Oath Keepers' testimonies will make you cry with pride. How can Thomma not feel complete shame for casually lumping them in with his hate groups. It is obvious where the hate is coming from.
It seems to be completely out in the open now - no logic, no reason. How do you discuss anything with someone who appears insane? You don't, you just yell at them out of frustration.
So now it is out in the open - supporting (dare I say, defending?) the Constitution is dissent... but "dissent" against what? Why, the national government of course. Can you say national socialism?
BTW, thanks for the H/T!
Pawmetto,
I hope you washed your hands and scrubbed your keyboard after visiting the SPLC site.
Snaggle-Tooth Jones,
Enemy of the US Constitution, enemy of America's traditional demographics, enemy of Christianity.
Simply put, enemies of America.
