Analysts Expect Long-Term, Costly U.S. Campaign in Afghanistan
DC's subjects will have to cough up $4 billion a year to prop up the puppet government in Afghanistan. And we've sunk $223 billion into this imperial money pit already -- all for a war that cannot be won.
But Obama has to prove he's a liberal Democrat who's not afraid to throw his weight around. Military experts predict the costs of occupying Afghanistan will "probably eclipse that of the Iraq war," which is projected to reach over three trillion dollars.
Can you think of a better use for that money? Our rulers can't.

Imperialism is as imperialism does, and power-mad fools never learn from history or their own silly follies.
Each time I hear the word Afghanistan I think of Kipling's poem, "The Young British Soldier":

rex osborne,
Sadly, that fate awaits many good Southern boys who think they're fighting for their country.
