Where was Obama born?
And who cares?
I don't. I've received some friendly emails from folks who wonder why I haven't weighed in on this topic. Well, reason number one, I have no idea where he was born. And I'm not motivated to try and find out.
It doesn't matter who the elected dictator of the DC empire is. Whoever holds court in the Offal Office oversees a murderous, criminal regime that exports our jobs, sanctions demographic revolution, and routinely violates our rights. It is an illegitimate government that rules by fraud and force, and it isn't going to be reformed by substituting one stuffed suit for another.

Quite right Mike. The figurehead doesn't matter. Whoever might be the emperor, he would still represent and further the same interests.
Assuming the South became independent, who would you like to see head up the executive branch? Not meant to be a cute or smart comment--just curious.
Wherever there is that much power, there will be corruption. Manure draws flies. Republican files or Democratic flies, both are blood suckers.
As to the President of a Southron republic, I can offer no names presently. Someone who doesn't want to run my life and who understands and respects the principles of liberty and divided sovereignty.

I believe a 19th century nation-state like the old CSA could deteriorate into tyranny as much as the old USA. As HaroldC points out, where there is that much power, there will be corruption.
"Someone who doesn't want to run my life" wouldn't even be drawn to that much centralized power. So in addition to voting for "none of the above," I'd prefer a city-state, or something on the scale of a Swiss canton.

The whole birth certificate issue is a pointless battle anyway. Even if it was 100% proven that Obama was born in Kenya, half of his supporters would still deny it and the other half would say that it doesn't matter.
The Constitution has already been torn to shreds anyway. In light of what the Feds have done over the past century or so, the fact that Obama doesn't meet a technical requirement to be president is virtually irrelevant.
The only thing that worries me is that we as a nation are setting a dangerous precedent by not demanding that Obama prove his eligibility. If no one in power stands up to him on this, then who will stand up to him in 7 years when he decides to run for his third-term? Obama has already shown his lack of concern for Constitutional rules on term limits by his support for the would-be Honduran dictator.

Sad, but still true. I think it was Clyde Wilson who advised that the Constitution is not a self-enforcing document. The people of the States are supposed to be, but we've gotten fat and lazy.
I would vote for Senator James Webb of Virginia as the second ever Southern nation's president.
I think if the Dahli Bama was exposed as a fraud that he is, then it would hasten devolution.
It would also cause all sorts of havoc on legal or illegal bills he signs.

I used to care whether Obama is an American or not, because I actually believe that the Constitution should be followed. However, I read something (can't remember where) that changed my mind. What if this is just an attempt at disinformation? What better way to discredit conservatives and other political opponents?

The constitution has not been respected or enforced by the government for decades. Meaning
1) It IS a dictatorship
2) It IS illegitimate
3) It IS a threat to America's founding stock
4) It IS able to produce as many laws as it wants, and enforce these laws however the elite pleases
5) It robs wholesale the people of their property (taxes) and liberty (excessive legislation).
There are too many laws and there is too much bureaucracy. The system is too big and too corrupt to fix. We need to throw the whole thing out and start over. As in, purge these anti-white, anti-American plutocratic elites and replace them with a principled aristocracy who will respect the constitution as the basis of our republican government.
Timothy P.: You are absolutely right in everything you say, my only reservation is with regard to the form government - I DO agree with you that we need a more stable gov't., stable with regard to fundamental principles. Our Southern forebares had the answer, but erred fatally by joining 'The Union' in 1789. I believe if we go back to THEIR writings, THEIR thoughts, THEIR beliefs with regard to "The Divine Order," i.e. God - Man - Woman - Family - Community - Country, we will have 'the answer.' There is no way to prove he was not born in the USA. Any document can be claimed to be a forgery. Any expert can be countered with another expert. In the end it's he said, he said.
Does anyone think a Democratic Congress is going to impeach and convict?
Why should Obama provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt, if it keeps some of his opposition concentrating on this?
This reminds me of the hunt for war criminal Dr. Mengele. He drowned and for many years Nazi War Criminal hunters looked for him not knowing he was dead.
The family was asked by a dense reporter, why they had not just said Mengele was dead. By not telling they caused the Nazi hunters to spend time and resources looking for a dead man.

Logically, you can't prove anyone "wasn't born here" if they DON'T have a LEGITIMATE AND VERIFIABLY LEGITIMATE independent source of such evidence of birth in the U.S.. BUT THE POINT IS that to prove such a claim, YOU MUST HAVE EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT IT. B.O. DOESN'T HAVE SUCH EVIDENCE - there is no legitimate REASON to believe he was 'born here' WITHOUT INDEPENDENT IMPERSONAL EVIDENCE to that effect. No one, who can't "prove it" in such a manner, has ANY BUSINESS even thinking about, LET ALONE PRETENDING TO BE, "the President of the united States."
Again, this strikes to the very heart of the legitimacy of the government, which has not been truly legitimate since (I must correct a previous post) 1861. However, whereas our opponents have consistently heretofore claimed it was "just a matter of INTERPRETATION," and so "took the wind out of our sails," THIS IS QUITE LITERALLY 'A MATTER OF FACT,' FOR ALL TO SEE.
