See? Conservatives are eeeevil

Here it comes:

Dallas Morning News’s Wayne Slater become one of the first pundits after the shootings at the Holocaust Museum on Wednesday to hint that there was a connection to mainstream conservative activists. On CNN Newsroom, about two hours after the story broke, Slater linked this incident and the murder of abortionist George Tiller with “anti-tax secessionists in Texas,” his label for Tea Party protesters.

Just when the leftists had ceased their collective tantrum about the Tea Party protests, another nut case's actions are supposed to prove all conservatives are bloodthirsty neo-Nazis.

So while it's racist to observe the facts about the cause-and-effect relationship between illegal immigration and crime (see here, here, and here, for example), it's suddenly ok to condemn all who fail to embrace leftist radicalism as murderers and terrorists.

For example, the pro-war Little Green Footballs now claims the murder at the Holocaust Museum validates the Department of Homeland Security Report warning about Ron Paul supporters, gun rights groups, border security activists, and supporters of States' Rights as terrorists-in-training. Yeah, it takes a really brave man to pile on, Charles.

By the way, let's not forget that that Homeland Security slam against conservative and limited government was commissioned by none other than the faux conservative Bush administration.

It was obviously one lone nut that had ongoing mental problems for years. I do agree, with this incident and the murder of the abortion "doctor" more and more scrutiny will fall on anything that is even vaguely considered conservative.

I think this is evidence that the liberals are getting really, seriously scared.

As they should be.

And one was expecting what, a picnic? What is building on the streets and in the corridors of power is not a celluloid script courtesy of the Hollywood fantasy factory. Societal collapse is exactly that. These are early days. It's going to get ugly, very ugly.

On the right, the occasional extremist goes off and kills a man. On the left, the large number of crackpots go into politics and wreck nations.

No, Lost--those that simply espouse "unpopular" or "anti-government" positions will draw only minimal, if any, scrutiny. While I believe that the First Amendment should be broadly interpreted, particularly in the area freedom of speech, if one makes one's views known, one can expect some degree of scrutiny.

The major scrutiny will fall on the true nut jobs like von Brunn and the murderer of the abortion doctor. It is one thing to talk about violence--it is another to warmly embrace it and act upon it. I think we can all agree that it is wrong to intentionally (or even negligently or recklessly) kill another human except in legitimate cases of self-defense.

Turns out the guy was anti-Christian as well. Not surprising. Eric Rudolph, Timothy McVeigh, and Ted Kaczynski were not Christians either. They were gnostics, which is the reason they acted alone. Of course, as M. E. Bradford has demonstrated, Lincoln worshipped a Gnostic God as well and Ol' Abe's responsible for the death of over 600,000 men. But you won't hear that discussed in the media.

LostinUtah,

Right. Though the actions of "one lone Muslim extremist" don't warrant concern. Got it.

Harold Thomas,

Yep! Shakin' in their hand-made, organic material booties.

Sebastian Ronin,

And the longer reform -- that is, natural devolution -- is prevented from occuring, the worse the collapse will be.

Anonymous,

I'd like to think you're correct, but the DHS report on those eeevil Ron Paul supporters indicates the powers that be are nervous -- and that makes them dangerous, as Sebastian suggests above.

travis,

True! The man's a Nazi, which means he's a pagan socialist, while we're Christian conservatives.
