John Edwards investigation reported

Well, ain't this interesting:

The National Enquirer reported on its Web site that a federal grand jury in Raleigh is investigating whether former Sen. John Edwards violated campaign-finance laws in his bid for president in 2008 by making payments to Rielle Hunter, his admitted mistress.

U.S. Attorney George Holding said Thursday that he "was not going to confirm or deny any investigation" regarding Edwards.

This story has it all -- a rat of a husband cheating on his sick wife, a wealthy attorney in an embarrassing sexual liason, a self-righteous liberal caught in a shameful lie -- folks, it just doesn't get any better than this!

Makes you feel pretty, doesn't it?

Oh well, maybe the extortionist Rielle Hunter really did not pay all her taxes on her ill-gotten monetary gain.

Meanwhile, the "Other America" is made of flesh and bones and it is hurting. We in the "Other America" need a National Spokesperson.
I'm O.K. with John Edwards as my spokesperson.
During the Presidential campaign, John Edwards said about the majority of "Other" Americans, (those who are not rich and do not own a bank) the following:
"They persevere. They are strong. They are courageous. They go out everyday and do what they can for their family. These people are entitled to dignity and respect." This needs to be said, again, by someone, right now.
I know the money I donated to the Edwards campaign was well spent.

Hey, did you know that John Edwards' father worked in a textile mill in South Carolina? He's one of us!

I agree with Cherubim. Edwards was about the only person during the election who's main focus was on the working class. Him and Kucinich were the only Democrats with something worthwhile to say, much like Paul, Tancredo and Hunter were the only republicans who had a platform to speak from. Everyone else was typical political double-speak assholes.

For all his personal flaws, Edwards was a contrast to Obama, who happily spit on the white working class in front of a wooing audience of San Francisco limousine leftists.
