Support North Carolina's Sovereignty Resolution!

Please take time to write and thank these NC representatives for their fine efforts in presenting HB849, a long overdue patriotic measure. Here is a reply received today from Representative Carolyn Justice, the prime mover behind the bill:

"You will be pleased to know that I have sponsored a Resolution titled Sovereignty Under The 10th Amendment along with Representatives George Cleveland, Curtis Blackwood, and Mark Hilton. We have 25 co-sponsors. The Bill # is HB 849. Thanks for writing and for your interest in a strong America." Rep. Carolyn Justice

Let your own local State representative know that you expect them to support this important State Sovereignty bill!

Rep. Curtis Blackwood, Union County, curtis.blackwood@ncleg.net
Rep. George Cleveland, Onslow County, george.cleveland@ncleg.net
Rep. Mark Hilton, Catawba County, mark.hilton@ncleg.net
Rep. Carolyn Justice, carolyn.justice@ncleg.net

Wow, Mike! I mean WOW! You can bet that each of these patriotic representatives will get an email from me thanking them for this long-overdue bill. I will also write both an email and a hard-copy letter my representative in Raleigh respectfully explaining why support of this bill is of the greatest importance.

This could be the start of something great.

It feels good to be a Tarheel.

rex osborne (and others),

That's great! I'll match your efforts, and encourage others to do the same.

NOTHING gets a politician's attention like a hand-written letter (nothing, that is, except a hand-written check!).

For my fellow Tarheels, a PDF file of HB849 can be seen or downloaded here:

Short and sweet. To the point. Long overdue.

The North Carolina House actually passed a nearly identical bill back in 1995. It was referred to the State Senate where it has been buried in the Rules and Operations Committee ever since.
