Brazil’s leader blames white people for crisis

This comes from the post-racial utopia of Brazil:

Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on Thursday blamed the global economic crisis on “white people with blue eyes” and said it was wrong that black and indigenous people should pay for white people’s mistakes.

Speaking in Brasília at a joint press conference with Gordon Brown, the UK prime minister, Mr Lula da Silva told reporters: “This crisis was caused by the irrational behaviour of white people with blue eyes, who before the crisis appeared to know everything and now demonstrate that they know nothing.”

Of course, nobody attacks an entire race around the great, cosmopolitan Gordon Brown. And, boy, did he ever let da Silva have it:

Mr Brown appeared to distance himself from Mr Lula da Silva’s remarks. “I’m not going to attribute blame to any individuals,” he said.

Yeah! Way to stand up for your people, Gordo!

Question: If someone had slammed Muslim Pakistanis in Britain as terrorists-in-waiting, do you think Brown would've only "appeared to distance himself" from such remarks?

I had nothing to do with the problems Brazil faces, so why does he attack me with such words? The problem he has is with tyranny, not a type of people. Last time I looked the Spanards & Portugese who colonized that continent looked just like he does. How is this for a reply: I will never buy anything from Brazil again.

What a pathetic coward Brown is! It wasn't an attack on individuals, it was an attack on an entire race.

As a white person with hazel eyes, I'm glad to be exonerated.

I'll bet the real banksters who caused the real crisis are getting quite a chuckle out of that one.

It appears that Lula da Silva has studied the art of demagoguery enough to find the safest direction in which to squirt his stink-juice.

As for Gordon Brown, in my opinion he is too useless to be prime minister of a free-floating ice floe. The walruses wouldn't put up with him.

Read about Lula da Silva and see his photo here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luiz_In%C3%A1cio_Lula_da_Silva

As you can see he is just another anti-white, white man. This is the most common, and apparently the safest, form of demagoguery.

Maybe he, Bill Clinton and Gordon Brown ought to form a trio. I have a name in mind for this trio, but wouldn't care to say what it is because I don't like to use bad language on somebody else's blog.

I'm not surprised at all that this comment was made by the president of "post-racial" Brazil. "Post-racial" is just code word for "post-white." It may be of interest to some on this blog that there is a secession movement in the majority white region of southern Brazil. I talked to a Brazilian law student involved in this movement a few months back and he said the movement was beginning to make headway. No doubt this latest comment should put even more wind in their sails.

Anonymous,

Why pick on Brazil? Whites are to blame for every problem in this country, too.

Anonymous II,

Exactly. Everyone's equal, but some are more equal than others.

rex osborne,

There's an anti-white revolution sweeping South America these days, and Brazil isn't immune.

Anonymous III,

I'll be on the lookout for further developments. It sounds similar to what's happening in eastern Bolivia.

Devolution is coming!

I have blondish, brown hair and blueish, green eyes. Hope that means I'm less to blame than other people!

pbfreeland,

Nah, you're not safe. Close enough for government work.
