"Naval Blockade" or All Out War Against Iran?
Here's yet one more indication that the Bush-Cheney Neonuts are determined to spark Armageddon. From Global Research:
It is worth noting that the Kuwaiti government had activated emergency procedures based on the information pertaining to a major naval deployment in the Persian Gulf.
Based on the movement and location of USS carrier and expeditionary strike forces, the Bush administration has not decided to carry out a naval surge directed against Iran immediately following the conduct of the North Atlantic War Games,
The eventuality of a naval blockade directed against Iran is nonetheless being considered by the Pentagon. In fact, the naval blockade initiative is supported by a bill which was launched in the US Congress in late May. (See below for details).
We have checked the most recent information regarding the movements and location of the various USS Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Groups.

I'm not one to blame "America" first, like is shouted from the neo-con hell hounds. But I will place blame upon the dark forces of the DC regime. Why, after all the warnings of our forefathers, do they not listen? Are we the beast that is foretold in the book?Am I the only one who See's these incursions of war and interference with others, as the prophets' vindication? I have pleaded with my Governor and State officials, to bring our boys home. And prepare ourselves for the days of reckoning that will surely come. It's sad to say, but elections of new people to government will not change anything. For these are dark principalities, who shadow our every move, and can crush every motive. May we one day drink from the cup of freedom and rest under the shade of the trees. DeoVindice.
I'm no lawyer, but my understanding is that a 'blockade', under international law, is an act of war. The regime evidently doesn't even attempt to disguise its aggression, a la JFK, by euphamistically calling it a 'quarantine'.
Marksc is correct..... the DC regime represents dark forces indeed, and rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic won't help. Independence - and soon!

Same here. "America" refers to the people, institutions, and culture of America. DC, on the other hand, is dominated by power-mad ideologues.
I like the idea of pushing State officials to withdraw their Home Guards from DC's misuse.
mark thomey,
Of course a blockade is an act of war, no matter who does it. The ruling elite in DC, however, agrees with Leona Helmsley -- rules are for little countries.
