Fannie and Freddie Fleece the Taxpayers
It's bad enough the US government uses taxpayer dollars to subsidize affirmative action mortgage lending practices, but now that the whole insane system is crashing all around us, we're being soaked again to prop up this monstrosity:
Relying in part on last month’s housing bill allowing the Federal Housing Authority to make some $300 billion available for refinancing existing home mortgages, Fannie and Freddie say they will attempt to raise additional capital privately and to take steps to slow loan defaults and home foreclosures.
But in an environment where it is now clear that the two companies are backed by the full faith and credit of the US government, the potential liabilities of taxpayers will continue to balloon. Although Fannie claims to have tightened requirements for liar loans, it will keep buying them until year’s end. Stay tuned for more bad news.
Oh, we'll be tuned in, all right. Seems like we have very little choice.

Perhaps this is one of the plethora of reasons why, according to the empire's extrotion money collector/knuckle breaker, around 26 million 'taxpayers' (sheep for the shearing) no longer file/pay federal income taxes. And why not, considering that especially we, as Southrons, by paying those taxes, are financing our own destruction. It's bad enough that the SOB's are trying to eradicate us, more's the pity that many of us are paying them to do it.

Many of us have no choice , but to pay -up or lose what little of everything we have when the jack booted IRS seizes our ASSETS.
However I do know a man in Gaffney, SC who was born and raised there. He moved his citizenship to Costa Rica. He lives fulltime in SC, but pays NO income tax.Slick huh? Maybe this strategy is what we need to put the squeeze on the Feds. After all, illegals and green cards are doing the same thing. Why can't we?
mark thomey,
That's the ironic truth. We are indeed paying for our own exploitation and demise. And sadly, too many think they have no other choice.
