What an attack on Iran will look like

If the swaggering morons get their way, Iran won't be the mostly antiseptic, faraway adventure cheered on by flag-waving chickenhawks and laptop bombardiers. How will it be different? It'll hurt.

Thanks to Damon for passing this on!

The first time I saw this clip I got a sickening feeling that we were being ruled by insane people. Please stop the neocons before they can go any farther in destroying us.

When you combine this with the Meryl Lynch article previously posted, it paints a very dismal picture of our future as a country and as citizens of that country.

We may have once been a "world power" but will we soon be a "world joke"

Sorry - Merrill Lynch - if some of us would learn to spell, we may be better at understanding things.

I am dying to get this guy's book. He was a weapons inspector in Irag in the 90's, so his insight would be great. I received this video a couple of days ago and sent it to everyone I could.

The scenario is frightening beyond imagination.

Ritter has got it about right.
.
What a fool we have as president. And McCain is his clone.
.
We're up the proverbial creek.

jm sawyer,

What I used to explain as arrogance I now believe to be insanity. They're desperate to relive the glory days of June, 2003, when Bush strutted around like a conquering hero.

saddlegait,

Yes, it's a "perfect storm" of military, economic, and political blunders hitting us all at once.

damoncrowe,

You're right, and I think I forgot to give you the required hat tip. I'll fix that, my friend!

pinky,

Gee, after McCain comes in, you and I might look back with nostalgia at the comparatively sane and sober Bush regime.

Mr. T.
.
I know several Iranians on a personal basis.
.
I am sure an attack on Iran will be the major mistake any government has ever made in the history of the world--it has the danger that could unleash an all out and world wide nuclear war. I can imagine the Pakistani response when Israel begins to destroy major Iranian cities in order to stop the devastation it will experience. Think of all the other nations that will join in to defend their own place; Russia, China, India, France, Great Britain, all of them.
..
But, what does Bush care? He already has a safe haven somewhere in South America. Makes me wonder if he and his neo-con buddies are not insane nihilists. They already live an isolated life from the rest of humanity. Who would ever want to be a friend to the Bush family? They have to know what will happen once the nuclear genii is out of the bottle.
.
Perhaps they think they will be saving the earth for some future civilization?
