One in five Americans whistling Dixie on secession
It's always nice when others notice your work:
The People's Republic of Colorado may not be a pipe dream after all for right-wing states' rights zealots and left-wing peaceniks.
A new national Zobgy/Middlebury Institute poll reports that 22 percent of respondents believe that states have the right to peaceably secede from the United States. The figures go up considerably among liberals, Latinos, blacks, young people and Southern residents.

I for one have pressed the issue with the Governors' office in South Carolina. I asked the Governor to take a stand and bring our Southern men home from the disasterous invasions of other countries. To remove the secret prisons in Charleston and along our coast, that makes our Citisens prone to attacks. I have pleaded with the Governor to have the Guard ready for the upcoming election to protect the people against the comming riots and lawlessness. I have urged our uS senators to introduce legislation to remove the standing armies and all the federal departments from within our borders. I've tried my best to convey to our handlers. That we face utter destruction as a civilisation, if we don't soon separate. I fear the alternitive to a peaceful resolution of secession; will bring militant oppression and the final solution of the Southern People.

I have news for you. The oppression will not just hit the Southerners. Yes, Southern culture is threatened -- but so are the rights (and culture) of everyone throughout the Empire who cherishes freedom.

Sadly, State officials these days are merely the local administrators of Federal control, rather than the representatives of their people.
