Freedom From Taxes Day Has Arrived
Well ... yes, but I wouldn't start celebrating just yet. This much is true:
Yesterday was finally the end of the days this year when you were working to pay the government its exorbitant fees. That’s right, July 16 was Cost of Government Day for the average American. ... Its simply outrageous that it takes 197 days of a year to finally pay off our government obligations and utterly criminal that more than half our income is consumed by bloated, needless bureaucracy.
The article then asks and answers what's supposed to be the all-revealing question, "And what do we have to show for this increased theft of our income? Not too damned much, that’s for sure."
Not true. We have a great deal to show for bigger government. There's tighter central control over the schools, more illegal civilian surveillance, and increased instability as a direct result of the government's domestic and foreign policies.
That's the real point.

Mike: I suppose this qualifies us as "half slaves" (actually a little more than half). Perhaps we will qualify for reparations . . .?
Perhaps on this occasion, a quote from Abraham Lincoln is appropriate (but with a new meaning):
"No nation can permanently endure half slave and half free."

Greetings and compliments on your blog . May I submit the term half blinded to compliment half slave , for as it was said - none are so blind as those who refuse to see
( isn't that Biblical ? ).
I know the labels of condemnation that will be thrown at me but doesn't our present condition nationwide prove it to be so - this is not our country anymore . We no longer have the reins .
While inroads may have been made to some extent on local levels , what changes on the national ? As an old buddy told me years ago - they
( movers and shakers )
know exactly what they're doing . They've had boxcar loads of petitions , records , arguements presented them over the years ... AND THEY DON'T GIVE A RATS BUTT ! They'll stall , feint , misdirect ... all the while keeping us busy and consuming our energys and efforts on battlefields of no consequence .
Cases of unconstitutionality ,
immorality , outright
criminality , etc. etc.
They have years and unlimited funds to drag it thru the courts , and if you get too uppity , you'll find yourself imprisoned or worse .
If there's not already a law or ordinance making you an outlaw ( read dissident ) , they'll pass one - hate laws , genocide treaty , etc. ad nauseum .
I can't hook into the logic that our people think that they will receive justice in the courts . That some law or precedent will be presented and all of a sudden - well , yes , I guess you are right . Yes , you got us by the short curlies on that one so we will have to concede to your demands and righteousness of your cause .
Aint gonna happen .
White nationalism is strictly verboten in the NWO scheme of things . This program goes world wide . We are the threat to their empire . We have His law upon our heart and that just wont do . All Judeo - Christianity diatribe aside ... they hate our God ( and before you snap at me , note that judeo precedes and is therefore the modifier ... there is no need for it ).
Diversity is not a good thing . It has never lifted the Christian standard of living , the morals and scruples of our people . It serves only to degrade to a diluted level . But ... that's the whole idea , isn't it ?
The Bible speaks of the milk of the Word , and the meat .
Denoting levels of understanding and input that one is able to assimilate .
On a Biblical level and even purely on a basic reality level , most would choke on a simple milk diet.
Ready made labels are already structured and well in place
" to counter " any truth that slips from behind the iron curtain , for that's all the opposition has . Relying on conditioned emotions of the populace . Works really well .
Integrated societies have never lasted .
God made all but He created us separate .
Man , in all our wisdom , have ignored His dictates or simply redefined them to suit our tastes. The fruit of our efforts lay before us .
We will not be able to forever hold ourselves aloof . There will be no talking ourselves out of this one . We'll be forced to adopt a hands on policy or we'll fall in line like the rest of the sheep and do as you're told .
Side note - a link to the truth of black rule in Africa . Look beyond the language
( which only reveals the level of anger , despair and anquish of the people ) and note the truth and realities presented .
Do we really deny our future will be the same ?

But, how does that idea apply to the idea that multinational corporations are buying much more than that largess using lobby groups?

Personally, I'd much rather the largess were spread around.

Trickle down doesn't seem to work very well for average Americans.
