Hey, we aim to enlighten, amuse, and irritate at the same time.
I laugh when I hear the nouveau conservative talk-show hosts say "well, the Republican party must return to its roots". Thanks to brave men like Mr. Benson, we now know that they are very close to their roots, indeed.
Patriots like Robert Taft, Barry Goldwater, and Ronald Reagan were ABERRATIONS of the Republicans -- just read "official" republican opinion pieces of these men to realise they were HATED by the establishment. Yes, even Reagan (flawed though he was) whom they pretend to adore, spit at the mention of his name behind closed doors, just as they do the white Christian American middle class.
