Paul No. 1 on Amazon.com

Well, here's a little poetic justice (or is it prosaic?). Either way, this says something about the increasingly roiling political climate we're in:

Ron Paul’s loyal supporters helped him set campaign fundraising records and capture more delegates during his presidential run than some of his high-profile Republican rivals. They even managed to briefly shut down Nevada’s GOP convention earlier this month over a rules change controversy.

Now they’ve taken his latest book to the top of the Amazon.com bestseller list.

Hillary and Obama are politics as usual. Both are globalist interventionists, meaning that they'll both continue the invite the world/invade the world domestic and foreign policies of the Neocons.

Ron Paul has told Americans there's another option, the option of peace, prosperity, liberty, secure borders -- in other words, a Constitutional, limited government that leaves its citizens and the world alone to conduct their own lives.

Of course, those who hate traditional America didn't like what Ron Paul said, and did their best to smear him. Neocons of national and not-so-national prominence, as well as their loony left blood-brothers ganged up on Ron Paul, obviously terrified of his message.

Paul's book is partial vindication, which will have to do -- for now.

But don't you think it's useless? Ron Paul will never get the nomination?

anonymous,

No and yes.

It's not useless. The great care our handlers show in keeping us in line tells us we're a sleeping giant. They know we hold in our hands the power to stop them and re-assert our right to self-government. That's what they're afraid of.

And yes -- anyone who runs on a platform like Paul's will not get the nomination.

But then, who needs it? As Jefferson warned us, "Were we directed from Washington when to sow, and when to reap, we should soon want bread." Well, we've become so dependent on the government that we have fooled ourselves into thinking we need a Ron Paul in DC to restore self-government to us. We don't. Besides, it's nonsense to look to the central government to lead a movement to decentralize power.

The battle is in our backyards, not in DC. The first step is to free ourselves mentally and spiritually from dependence on our exploiters in the Federal government. Then we can begin the task of restoring the right of self-determination and restoring Constitutional, limited government.
