Gee, just one little speech promising to commit genocide against Muslims, and the Neocons fall head-over-heels in love with you:
Hillary Clinton's got the momentum.
She's already put up big campaign fundraising numbers in the follow-up to her victory, and we should expect to see a Clinton bump in public opinion in states holding upcoming primaries, especially Indiana, the next crucial test for Obama's working-class appeal.

My son-in-law is Iranian and has been an American citizen for 20 years.
He has only been back there once in 27 years.

But he has a lot of contact with family and friends. I think I have a pretty good handle on the situation over there.

There is a broad base of pro-American sentiment in Iran; but, Bush is doing what ever he can to destroy that. His strategy seems to be one of making enemies where none has existed.
I heard it said on NPR radio yesterday that Hillary made her "obliterate Iran" statement in order to get the Jewish vote.

I'm afraid you're right about Mr. Bush. With the breakup of the Soviet Union, the money making machine called Ike properly identified as the "military-industrial-congressional" complex needed a new justification. Piddling popinjays like Noriega and the Grenada coup plotters just weren't enough, so we had to pick a fight with the folks in the Middle East.
Or should I say -- certain parts of the Middle East --

Funny thing about Iran. There was and continues to be a Jewish element in Iran and it is highly respected by all Iranians. There has never been a prejudice against Jews in Iran.

The problem is not about Judaism or Israel. But, it is about Zionism and something called Eratz Israel.
